New Stamping Dragon Challenge - Last Minute Christmas

Hello and welcome to my Scrapbooking and Cardmaking Blog.

Today I am posting my DT project for the new challenge starting today  a the  Stamping with the Dragon challenge blog with the theme 'Last minute Christmas'. Stamping Dragon are also the sponsors of the challenge and the winner receives a voucher to spend in the on-line store full of great papers and stamps from the Stamping Dragon collection.

The prize for the winner is a £5 voucher to the

My DT project is an A5 cardbase together with the lovely digital papers from Stamping Dragon to make that 'Last Minute' card.  I chose the   Winter Beauty  papers and images to make my last minute card as they contain great images of Christmas, with holly leaves, white Christmas roses and lovely rich greens.

My card was made using the Winter Beauty Card and Inserts kit  with a winter green backing paper adhered to a Kraftcard base with a red and white gingham ribbon bow  and some festively red buttons. I adhered the sentiment, also from the the kit, to the card with dimensional sticky fixers. The edges of the backing paper were distressed and rubbed over with antique gold ink to add some interest. The card was completed with some clear gloss on the Holly Berries to bring some shine to the card. Shame you can't see it in this photo.

So now it is your turn. Check out the  Stamping with the Dragon challenge blog to see the wonderful DT project that I am sure will inspire. Don't forget to make your link to the site and remember to leave us a comment. Good Luck!
