I am posting today after a long gap between posts simply because time seems to work against me and what time there is is never enough to get the creative jucies flowing.
My post is a photo I found on Facebook, posted by my cousin Karen of her Mum, my aunt Kathleen. I have very fond memories of Kathleen and this photo showed what a stunner she was. I say 'was' as Kathleen was take from family and friends far too soon. So permission was give to create the page and to blog the result.
The photo was a bit of a challenge as it was a photo of a photo behind glass. I had to use Photoshop to remove some of the reflection and the photo cleaned up pretty good, except for the band of light reflection that just would not go away. Must brush up on my Photoshop skills for this sort of thing.
Anyway the photo inspired my Mojo and thats good enough.

I used a combination of Bella Gypsy Kits to create the embellishments taking bits and pieces across a range of their kits. Bella Gypsy really do pack their kits with great papers and elements. Love them.
The backing paper was my own digital creation and the little blue/green heart is one of my embellishments too. Like I said above, I must get more time with my Photoshop and work on creating a few more digital pieces.
I haven't given up on improving the photo, just need to find the right Youtube video. LOL.
